CBC

cbC

Cannabicromene (CBC) is one of the most abundant phytocannabinoids in the cannabis plant discovered around 1966 along with its siblings CBD and THC. One of the three main cannabinoids despite its low concentrations (0.05-0.5 percent in the dry flowering plant) and also one of the least known.

CBC - The Cannabichromene

The synergistic effect of phytocannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids and other biochemical components of the plant is called the "entourage effect." The strength of this interaction means that full spectrum (full spectrum) products, that is, products that retain most of these components, are the most effective.

Like other cannabinoids, it does not possess psychotropic properties, which is why it is not listed in the table of prohibited substances.

Interesting aspects of CBC

The interesting aspect of CBC is that it develops from the same acid that produces CBD and THC, cannabigerolic acid (CBGA), the so-called "stem cell" of cannabinoids. Once the plant reaches the maturation stage, enzymes transform CBGA into a various compounds such as CBDA, THCA and CBCA, which are the precursors of the three main cannabinoids. Its chemical structure can be traced back to the other natural cannabinoids, such as tetrahydrocannabinol THC, tetrahydrocannabivarin THCV, cannabidiol CBD and cannabinol CBN.

Scientific research shows that it may be responsible for anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects by naturally stimulating the functions of the endocannabinoid system and helps maintain the body's balance. It helps amplify analgesic effects (natural pain reliever) and CBC has also been shown to stimulate bone growth, and recent research has shown that this relatively rare cannabinoid has 10 times more antidepressant effect than its cousin CBD.

These are the five pricipal medicinal properties of CBC:

Chronic pain relief

Neural regeneration

Antibacterial agent

Anti-depressant

Fight against acne

In conclusion:

Although CBC possesses unique characteristics, when combined with THC and CBD it is able to enhance its beneficial properties.

Cannabicromene seems to give rise to some interesting interactions with the human body, different from those of other non-intoxicating cannabinoids. However, we employ the verb "seems" because about CBC we do not know that much. Not because it is unsafe or illegal, but because it is difficult to isolate. However, it is also possible to find CBC as an ingredient in various broad-spectrum and full-spectrum CBD oils by searching for CBD products containing CBC and other cannabinoids as well as terpenes, flavonoids, and natural fatty acids.
